Did you get the 305-45-18? Let me know how you like them, I have F1's and I am considering a set of Nittos.

yeah I got the 305/45's. They said that they would be here in 2 business days....which is good b/c I freakin blew an F1 out on the way to work this am. These trucks look like *** with chrome all the way around except for one ugly spare! I'll let you know how it goes though, I am gonna run them with my newer F1's on the front until they wear out then I'll put Nitto's all the way around. I think I'm done with the F1's from now on, they dont seem to last as long as the DR's, they cost more and there is no comparison on how they hook.

Nitto's and rain dont mix! If you drive in the rain those are the worst tire you could use. I got my flame suit on!

I don't know about anyone else but I somehow got 28k miles on my first set of F1's, including many many many burnouts, drag passes, and green light stomps

24,000 on my original set on the front, plenty of tread left. My Nitto's were starting to bald in 4000 miles. Not a good comparison though because the Nitto's were heated up at the track more than 50 times.

When they start to wear out, I was unable to drive the truck above 50 in the rain. With plenty of tread my nitto 555r's are just as good as the f1's in the rain.

Wish I had a picture, but I have the 555r's on the rear (size above) and they marry perfectly (in my opinion) with the F1's on the front.

Dudes looking on will believe that you have more than just meaty rear tires with the package.

My first set of Nitto 555r's only lasted 12,000 miles and they were done at that point, but as mentioned in other posts I have never found a tire on the street that stuck better than these. Especially at 24 lbs pressure.

Feather and hold on!

They don't look out of place, just don't expect more than 7k out of them!

what about the toyo proxes? I have seen them for $161 a piece in size 295/45/18

I heard they are a great street tire for our trucks? I have also heard varying opinions about Nittos and F1s. Most people say that they are both awful in the rain and the nittos are the worse of the two.

I like my DR's...They really hook in the summer when the streets are hot.
If the temperature drops into the fifties or lower a 400 rwhp truck will overpower them.
I don't think it takes a Rocket-Scientist to look at these and determine that they are not rain tires.
I drive accordingly.

I have the same setup on mine. I still have full tread on both front and back (a little of 10,000 miles on them), and it drives ok in the rain as long as you stey off the gas... I think the Nitto's look better and I feel they grip better when it is warm, right now I can't buy traction so its parked for the winter...

Later guys...

They are only V rated and definitely won't handle like the F-1's. They are probably a better choice for a Cadillac Escalade.
