nitrous w/ported eaton?

i would like to add a 50 hp shot of nitrous to my lightning. it has a jdm cai,90mm maf, 2.8 blower pulley with a 4lb lower pulley, stieg stage 3 ported eaton, magnaflow cb and a xcal2 w/jdm tunes. will the stock long block hold up to the nitrous/blower combo with a safe dyno tune for the nitrous?anyone running a similar combo and/or what were your results? thanks

Beefcake in Cincy has a 50shot on a 6#lower with an Apten ported blower. I think he ran 11.83 @ 113 with a 1.63 60'.

I think I may give it a try here soon. I'll see how spring treats me. A nice 35-50 shot would be good stuff, nice little kick in the ***.

Yea, it would have to be really beneficial in the summer heat. My next mods are 2400 stall, fuel pumps, and probably that 35-50 shot. Anybody else have experience w/ this setup?

6lb lower/Apten, Full exhaust, and all the rest of the boltons?
My best to date is a 12.3@111.5 on slicks, 1.8 60ft. Also I recently got a wideband, and my tunes all over the place. Im reading low 10's AF under 4,000, then it teeters up to 12.3 at the shift. Good sign of needing fuel pumps? Or a new tune?

If your going to add the juice, I would DEFINITELY change out your fuel pumps is they are stockers first. Just my $.02

Bought March 02, spraying the stock block by Winter 02/03

I sprayed the living chit out of it all winter long on the streets then ran (5) 12.0's like that at Cecil "Spring of 03". Started with 65HP Wet Zex Shot, (I had the 55,65,75 HP Kit) but the first day at the track I switched to 75HP and ran it with the added 2lb upper pulley. So 6lb, JDM CIA, Truck Trak Bars and Tuned by JLP. Then ran the chit out of it at my local track all spring and summer, another Cecil trip, a couple of Jersery trips, bla bla bla. Was the 12.0 king for a while then finally on JDM Day 03 I pumped it up a little more by using my 19 degree timing program added the ported blower, and with the 6lbs of pulley I ran my best ET to date that day, 11.81 @ 113.98 MPH.
THAT ET IS SOOOOOOOOOO BUSTED WHEN I GET TO THE TRACK

Switched to the Race Tested Kit in the Winter of 03/04, sprayed the chit out of it all winter long on the streets, but only made 3 track events in 04,
all on the 6lb, Ported Eaton, and 75-100 Shot, ALL 11.8's or 11.9's.
Took it apart the winter of 04/05 for the first Built Motor and the rest is history.....

Bottom line,
up to a 50 shot (maybe 60-65) NO PROB AT ALL with the right tune,
BUT 75HP and more and you are def getting into thay gray area where you know what can happen. When we took my motor apart it was prob 1 pass away from spinning bearings. But I did spray the **** out of it for 2 good years on the stock block and most of it was on 6lbs of pulley and a ported eaton. AMOF it ran (5) 11's in a row right before we took it apart (and it was running flawless at the time)

BUT THERE'S NO DOUBT IS WAS TAKING IT'S TOLL

There's a HUGE diff between 50HP and 75HP (50% to be exact)
if you can be happy with 50 HP, you will be fine (thumbsup)

I recieved my NX kit today. Time to show the MP blower running high boost will perform great with the addition of nitrous. I love to see flawed data exposed.
