Question Lo jack?

I have read some posts about Lo jack, but I can't find any price info, other than that there is something like a $200 profit margin? The Lo jack web site lists an MSRP of $595. I'm wondering what those who installed it paid for their systems. Is there any kind of monitoring fee? Actually, I'm not that concerned about my baby being stolen, as it is garaged when not in use and I would never leave it unattended very long, but my ins. co. says I get a 15% discount on my comprehensive if I install it, so I'm trying to figure out if Lo jack would be cost effective or not.

I bought it on mine. It cost $595. I couldn't find anybody else to do it in my area, so I settled with it. and no monitoring fees that I've been aware of.

Cool

I got mine at the dealer, we discussed it and they sold it to me for the $595.00. About a week later, Lo-jack sent a van to the house and installed the system along with an alarm system. The insurance discount is very nice and I live too close to Mexico to let my baby go too far.

For me, a little relatively inexpensive peace of mind.

PS: My main interest was just havin a shot at any varmint stupid enough to mess w/my Beastie. I've got friends, I have!

There isn't much incentive on the ins. thing. My comp. is $86 per year. Comp is one of the cheaper things.
