My lightning came in this afternoon...
I left work early to see it, salesman said it was in the prep lot (1/4 mile from the dealers), I went there and it had been sent to the garage. I found it there, about 3 people were looking at it, when I found it.

Glad to see you L finally came in. You picked out a great color. Saw one of the new four door F150's today that was silver. Looks awesome. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.
BTW, don't let them get away with any power test without your approval. I would mention it to your salesman.

The offer is still there on doing the photos. How about a nice smokey burnout to post here. I know the dealer already got some rubber down. I have watched them drive over there and I've been in there prep garage. My dealer had fun with mine too, there were little ***** of rubber on the bottom of the rear fenders. In fact both the sales manager and service manger told me that it ran pretty good. About the scratches on the fascias, it sure seems like a little transit gift that we all get. You would have thought that that issue would have been resolved since "you know who" was aware of it since last spring.

If my ISP would get thier sh*$ together I could post some photos and a couple mpgs of my new silver lightning. It was too dark to see smoke but the tires do squeal. I will have to try again in am.

Now waiting for 2000 L
Put Cat Back system and K&N Filter on 302 but still want more….
Just Chipped the 92, its better but still no Lightning....CANT WAIT !!!

The overhead console only shows Temp and compass. But the POWER is awesome !!
Mine had 12 miles on it when I saw it today but mysteriously the little rubber ******* were on the fron tires but missing from the rears. Wonder how that happened ??

Yes, Doug, the silver looks totally awesome! I knew it would! Enjoy it! Maybe I'll see you in the N. Dallas area sometime.
Guys, I just have one question to ask...
Why are the dealers out "ragging" on customer's brand new $30k vehicles? Sorry, but that wouldn't cut it with me...but then again I guess I'm just ****. I keep reading stories where they take delivery and then you can't pick it up right away. WHAT?! And then when you do, there is rubber missing and what is missing is on the inside of the rear fenderwell. That's absurd. I got mine 30 mins after it left make-ready. It had 3 miles on it. All the dealer did was remove the window sticker...didn't even mount the front liscense plate bracket. My salesman called me at 8:30 am when the truck was delivered and they had it for me 4 hours later. Same thing with my Cobra when I bought it new.
I know this may not be a big deal to most of you, but I resent dealers who treat someone else's property like it doesn't matter.
