Hello Lightning owners and lovers.....I am new to this site..and after reading through several of these posts, its obvious that there is an endless resource here for information about the Lightning. I am seriously considering a purchase, BUT I just can't justify paying retail or MSRP for anything. SO, my question is this...is there anyone out there that knows of a dealer that will honor the Ford "A" Plan to purchase a Lightning. I will travel to make a purchase if the money saved makes it worth the journey. Plus the road trip home would be fun. There has to be an SVT dealership somewhere that has the allotment but doesn't have the high demand ?? Please HELP.

 

I think you might have better luck looking for a used Lightning. One guy just got his, after looking for 2 months. I cannot remember off-hand when he ordered his lightning though. Word is out these are bad trucks to own, heck I feel lucky to own one and I paid $4k over. It was also at the dealer, and I thought they were already sold out.

I don't know of any dealer with a high alotment. All SVT dealers have buyers and not enough trucks coming. Give this guy a call, tell him Andre said call him. His name is Bill Andreson, he is in fleet at Mac Haik Ford and will do all he can to get you a truck. "A" Plan I am not sure about but will save you some money. 713-932-5006 is his direct line. Injection is nice, but I'd rather be blown. 99 Lightning, the best of both worlds!

 

If you are willing to travel to the Detroit area I think you would be able to get it at A-plan price. There are many SVT dealers around town and I ordered mine with no deposit at A-plan discount price.
