wheres the manual

I was wondering if anyone knew why they didnt put a manual in the newer lightnings. (i dont know if manual was in the older ones but i am talking bought the ones that are like 2000 up)

and what clutch would FORD use in the production truck?

This is the problem Dodge has with the SRT-10 truck, weak clutch. Ironically, I called that into question before it was produced, but the know it all on here, said I didn't know what I was talking about.

hmm weak clutch i am surprised that is the answer to why they didnt put one in i would have thought wit all the technology now a days we would be able to have a good hard clutch i mean the stang cobra got a clutch and that doesent excltly have little power to it.

And the Stang weighs about half as much as the truck

Look back at what l-menace posted.
It's not so much that the SRT-10 has a weak clutch because it works fine in the Viper.
Then again, the Viper doesn't weigh about 6000lb either so there's your problem.
It's not just the engine power being tramsmitted, it's the overall weight of the vehicle too.

Ever seen the clutch out of a Semi

thats very true didnt think of the weight. wish they could have made one in one though

they also dont weight 6000lbs... i think there like 5012lbs... or really close.. every one thinks there f'in boats... there really not much heavier then ours...


also... no one can shift as fast as a good build auto...
