topless?

Are there any pics of a topless L out there or does somebody own one? I love convertibles and trucks. A lady in town had a newer 4x4 Toyota made into a convetible looks...........interesting. I know that Dodge made a convertible Dakota from I think 1988 to 1991. They arent very cheap though. Very rare to find a nice one.

i think there was one or two a while ago... A black one, slammed, with a tonneau with the speed humps glassed in on the back of a hard tonneau.. looked good. but i'd spare an L of that. Probably be too weak structurally to really support WOT launches and such....

...not really a strength problem, all the strength is in the lower frame on an L. I still wouldn't ruin one like that though. Maybe take a regular f150, add a bolt-on supercharger or turbo, and cut it, and put the Lightning trim panels and interior, etc. Just my .02$

i was just thinking about that... Prior to the L i had a unibody Jeep GC and remember discussions of cutting those up and what not... but yeah you're right. and i agree

I saved them when I saw them. I admire the work but not really my taste.
