If snow is what your worried about then you got the wrong truck. Turning a Lightning into a 4x4 is wrong.

Just save up and buy/trade for one of the new Ford "Adrendelene" trucks coming out in 2006 as a 2007 model....AWD, 4 doors, and, a s/c Cobra 390hp engine!!

AWD Lightning, that would be cool. It would be like the Syclones/Tyhphoons they kicked a$$ back in the day. I say Ford should do something like that, full time 4 wheel drive SCed 5.4.
I remember seeing someone swapped drivetrains from an L into a F-150, I think it was an Xtra cab. It was pretty sweet.

kinda like a rally car

thats what i was getting at in asking about a AWD L. I already have F-550 4x4 for winter driving. But an AWD L would be almost unbeatable on the street and strip. No more burning the tires up, well at least not only 2 of them. A couple of years ago a met a guy who had a AWD Supra turbo that could do 4 wheel burnouts, talk about impressive.

wow the 2007 SVT Adrenaline sounds to be the best sport truck ever built going by its specs. AWD independant sups., S/C 03 04 Corbra motor (very potent and easily modded) more than 2 seats,,,,,,,, the only ? is whats its gonna cost me for one? 40k 50k?

The new Adrenaline is also going to be heavy as ****. Not something you want with a torque lacking 4.6 liter engine.

Hmm, everything I've read has mentioned the weight being very close to the L, withing 100/200 pounds.

Can you tell I'm waiting for one?

From what I've read the Adrenaline is going to be lighter than an L and have about the same stock performance! I wouldn't see how it could be as heavy or heavier than an L since it is on the Explorer platform.

That must have been pretty sick. I have seen some STis doing some AWD burnouts, one in particular was awesome, he came to a complete stop then stomped on it and sat there for a second then cut the wheel and started this insane burnout. Another sick one was with a 93 GMC Typhoon, this truck was all worked up making some serious HP. He let the hammer drop and smoked'em
it was awesome. I would love to see that in person.

Does anyone have any pics of the new Adrenaline?

Thanks
