Question Drag Radials and Gears

BF Goodrich Drag Radial 255/50R/16 is the tallest drag radial I can find at 26.1" while stock F 1's are 28.45". With 4:10 gears this will put my effective ratio at 4:47. Will this be wound too tight at the top end? Thanks!

Hey Calightnin, I don't think it should be a problem in the quarter, but I am not sure. Say, could you post the following info if you have it?
0-60 time
quarter mile time and speed w/ stock tires
rpm's at 65mph
gas mileage
if you have traction problems.

I'd really apreciate it, I am seriously thinking about getting higher ratio gears

Maybe keep bugging B.F.Goodrick for a 18 inch
drag radial and we'll get their design group
to produce.
