Did you make sure u connected everything back together. MAF sensor, IAT sensor, and the 3 vacuum connections at the bottom of the elbow?
Also try disconnecting the battery for a few mins. and reconnect it too see if it shows up again. Good Luck!!

I have a kink in on of my hoses that goes into the bottom of my intake with no problems.

If you're sure of your connections, use a predator or code read to see what the SES light is throwing. If you don't have a code reader you could take it to Autozone or such and they'll read your codes...

I just installed this same kit about a month ago. The instructions require you to cut the plastic hose that comes from the passgr. side of the plenum to make the vacuum hose fit under the elbow. Did you do that?
Also make sure that not only are the vacuum lines connected TO the intake, but that they didnt come off on the other side. I found the hose coming off the valve cover to the elbow disconnected at the valve cover. Im almost positive you have a vacuum leak.
Be patient. Take a breather or drink a beer and go back and check again. Sometimes we can't help but miss the obvious things. Good luck! Keep us updated.

Check everything for leaks. If not..... then take some "electrical contact cleaner" and spray down the MAF wires (two of them) DO NOT TOUCH THEM!! Reset the computer (batt disconnect & lights on/off)

If that does'nt work then go to your local autozone and they'll scan it for free.
