What smaller mods could i do next ?

So far i have the jlp cold air intake 4lb lower and tuner .. I also have the ftvb!! I was wondering what other small mods i could do without getting into the block or heads. Can i get into the low 12's without those mods ?

thanks

shane

These people are saying you should be in the 12's in IDEAL conditions so don't get discouraged just because you haven't hit a 12 yet. I ran a 12.41 with slicks, t-bars and a 4lb lower, but I couldnt do it every time out. I ran a 13.1 with that same exact combo at a diff track in diff weather. I do agree that your next step would be a set of slicks, traction bars, and dont forget the driveshaft safety loop (you cannot run slicks without one).

Oneevil - I've been running a 6# for a little while now with no issues at all, just make sure that your truck is tuned for it or you could run into some problems. I agree with noah...port the blower, and maybe look into getting some 4.10 gears, traction bars, and a good tune. I think you'll be happy with the results!

Perfectly said traction bars, ported/polished s/c and slicks. Also, won't add hp, but could add oil seperator as well, keep that intercooler clean.
