Engine label for air filter kit???

Hey Ford Guys!
You'll know the lingo. That label is (PIA) to the air cleaner, so it may carry a Ford part # but not a service part #. Good luck if you think that the vendor will sell it to you. It would not be a wise move on his part. I know who they are. They might want to let you have some to evaluate but they can't sell them to you. Those items are owned by Ford. The 1999 and the 2000 label are different from each other. Now how did I know that.

babolt, if you can get that emb. at the dealer then why is everyone asking for one? I never needed to check the dealer and see, I never started this topic, and this is not the first time this topic has came up. but i do know when we run service parts airboxes they come with stickers and emb. so i dont see why they would sell that by its self but i could be wrong. As for the 2000 emb. being diff. from the 99 i did'nt care to look into it after i got my 99 L, and didnt think they would chang it. but since people are asking for them 99 emb. im trying to help. i dont work in that department aircleaners but i have friends that do. But i will find out tomarrow at work whats going on. and if i can only get 10-15 of them from the vendor its worth the shot, i will be glad to help out some friends so dont worry about it!! babolt do you work for ford motor co. I do. if you can get those be my guest.

OK here we go a FREE emblem to everyone.
All you have to do is find a high quality Xerox printer and it's yours.
Just some information for you. I had my friends at the local Ford dealer spend the last three day checking on this. No way can they get it. I also spoke with the vendor and as I stated in a previous post the item is owned by FORD and they can't sell it.

Hey BABOLT whats your e/mail lets talk so i can set you straight! I know things on this that im sure you dont know about! My friend at the dealer could'nt find anything on the part number i gave him. he cant even get the part number. I have the part number and the vendor. what did you say the vendors name was again in ( sparta,WI ) remember i work for FORD and i have friends all over that work for FORD so i will see what can and cant be done!. I will see if that part number will be a able to order part the future ???.

In fact I will bet you that I know the Sandusky plant better then you. In regards to these vehicles I have been involved with them from the clay process through production. Also,in regards to the vendor I have know them very well over the years. My whole point is that as an employee of a company (any company) we cannot give away their product much less offer it for sale. Yes the vendor will give you the emblems to evaluate but for you or anyone to in turn offer to sell or even to give them away is a violation of their trust and the companys (Ford Motor Company) too.

guys its just a littel sticker, this is not who knows who, or who can do what. If the new ones are going to be gold, then I will ask you this, are they going to change them every year? If so then it would be kinda cool to have the new year's color (not that I would put it on my truck), but if they are chaning to gold for good, guess what color I would rather have - the current one, there will be less of them! Dont start a little fued here, remember what happened to the last person that went off, he isnt here anymore!
