Post newbie questions

I'm new here; and thinking of trading my '99 Cobra for a 2k Lightning. I've been a bit worried though about some owner's experiences I've read about where loss of intercooler coolant is occurring. Is there a dash indicator that lets you know if the fluid level is low?

Also, it seems to me that the location of the intercooler, while enormously efficient from an airflow perspective, is a little less effective than it might be from a cooling standpoint because of its close proximity to block heat. Has anyone worked with the heat exchanger end to improve coolant flow, or outside cooling airflow through the heat exchanger, or is this basically not overly productive?

No dash indicator, resivoir located up high with radiator, cooler located down low in high air flow area. No loss of fluid after 8000 miles. Same as day of delivery on June 1st. Keep the Cobra, the truck will just make you go madddddddddddddddd...........[)

uh, talking about owning an SVT & going maddddddd, I would be if I owned the 99' Cobra & found out I was robbed of power!! Ya sell the damn thing & get your hands on some REAL POWER! Go out & order yourself a 2000 Lightning & blow away those Cobras. Dont worry about the intercooler, it seems that only a hand full of people have had problems (rather have that than down on power hehe)
