Cool

Perhaps you could elaborate on that last statement Sal? Are the PSD's having trouble? If not what is the basis for your concern?

I wanted to address SVTLEMONBOY's comments. I AM loosing intercooler fluid. I have gone through about 6 gallons in two weeks. In addition, I have had my oxygen sensor replaced already and I just got a service engine soon light today which is emissions-related I think. It's entirely possible that my engine is aspirating intercooler coolant which is causing emissions and performance problems.

However, SVTLEMONBOY suggested running without intercooler fluid. I'm not sure this is such a good idea. Is there a pump which circulates the fluid? If so, wouldnt running w/o fluid burn out the pump? Or is it some kind of convection circulation system?

I did take the vehicle into the dealer. They put me off until monday saying that it's a "drivability issue".

Thumbs down

Nathan,

Given your problems and the threads on this board:

1. Drive your truck to the dealer immediately.
2. Leave it there until you have a new engine (intercooler fluid loss is a disaster)and a new tranny.
3. I hope you have a strong lemon law in your state!

Best of luck,

adp

Exclamation

Nathan: Yes, there is a 12V Bosch pump that circulates the coolant. If I remember right it's down near the intercooler radiator on the passenger side. I would bet that it relies on coolant for lubrication.
