I hear that not all svt dealers gave the A/Z plan! i got order confirmation on my on 3-6-99 it was built 5-4-99 #919 black ,and had keys in hand on 5-16-99. my base price with 6-disc cd chgr $210.00, trailer tow grp $245.00, and dest and delivery $640.00 came to $30,450. with the ford employee A/Z plan it came out to $25,364 with tax out the door $26,719! not too bad!!!. anyone here what the 2000 are going for?

 

I got out on A plan with no mark up also.. 25k and change... I feel like I got away with murder...

But I had to go to 4 different dealers to find someone to sell me one via A plan without markup..

Hey brad, after hearing about mark ups from $3,000 to $10,000 with no A/Z plan!!!, those dealers got away with murder!!!. We should have bought two and sold one on Ebay or auto trader! hehehe

 

Minor point of interest:

Auto Trader prices in Atlanta are $27,500 for used Lightnings on average with less than 10K miles.

My dealer sold me mine for full list no add ons. Has a few 2000.5 allocations left, also at full list no add ons.

I got one hell of a deal got aplan plus a 500 dollor rebate dur to hurricane in north carolina. Out the door with the trailier hitch and cd changer was 24887. Was very happy only catch had to go to ohio to find dealer to sell at aplan. Picked it up from Gillingham ford in parma ohio. They are some super folks there. Found out about them here on the message board. Thanks to some other lightning fans that helped me run one down.

When I was ready to buy (found a buyer for my 93 with 150k miles) they were mostly gone here in Houston. I found one (red of course like my 93) and they wanted 5k over sticker. I said no way and they said come talk to us. I had my buyer meet me at the dealership and take delivery of my 93 and give me a check, right in front of the salesman.
I walked in with my briefcase, radar detector, and a check.
We settled on 1000 over window. It's hard to be real tough when your eyes are glassed over. I was already in love with my new toy and I didn't even own it yet, but I had to have it. Salesmen love guys like me. Oh, well who cares...I love my truck. It's Greatttttttttttttttt.

By the way I got mine from River Oaks Ford in Calumet City,IL and feel lucky to have paid 'only' sticker for the L.
