Like to see how many Lightnings we can get together in Baytown at HRP on Friday (2/4) night. Weather permitting I am going to be there (from Dallas) to log my first official 1/4 mile times. There will also be an SCCA Autocross event on Sunday for those who can't make it on Friday night. Who's interested?

I was thinking that I need to do the same thing! I and the L are both virgins... It wouldn't be as intimidating if there is somone else there for their first time. Kelly gets off work late, but we will try to make it ASAP. See you there!

 

I'm in. the boy is off from school Friday, so i promised him we would go to the track. He thinks we're going to Sealy, but I am going to surprise him (if he doesn't read this on the board first, I'll have to ground him from his computer for a few days....).

I need some 1/4 times with the new setup and DR's. I am planning a pull or two on the dyno this week to see what, if any improvements Sal's new code has in store for me.

Hey where is the HRP at? I haven't been anywhere with my baby, I guess you could say that we are both still in diapers. I am not familiar with Houston, but I am sure that I could get there quick enough.....

 

That sounds like a great idea. I would like to meet some of ya'll. Haven't run the L in the quarter yet. Taken it to Sealy though.

What time are all of ya'll planing to be there, me and couple of friends were thinking about going but I probably won't be there till 7:30 or 8:00. That is if they have the L ready by then.

 

I'm leaving Dallas at lunch time on Friday so I should be at the track relatively early. I've also got to find a place to change my tires once I get down there.

Gates open at 5:00, Tech at about 5:30, $15.00 to race, 7.00 to watch. We usually gather in the pits by the staging lanes next to the tower, just look for Beastie.
