Header Fasteners ?

Well I was changing oil tonight and started looking and found that the passenger side header rear cylinder nuts are gone. There are studs in the upper and lower holes with maybe a couple threads above the header surface,at best. Does not look like the studs broke. Should these studs be identical to the rest of the header studs? This may be another example of the mechanic not installing the nuts..not sure. The truck has been throwing a lean code now and then.
Anyone have any pictures or know for sure what should be installed. Seems like they would all be the same.
Thanks

All the studs should be the same length on the factory manifolds, all years. If you were throwing a lean code it could be from sucking in air through the area that isn't tight. Wont happen all the time either, only when operating conditions allow this to happen. Good rule of thumb, exhaust leaks don't always BLOW exhaust, they can suck in air as well, telling your oxygen sensors that there is a lean condition. Good luck, hope this helps! BK

Get a set of Stage 8 locking header bolts. My crappy oem headers bolts keep backing out on my truck.

These are the ones I use. Never had a problem with them.

I went Stage 8 too. They where real nice pieces. The clips that you use are kind of a bear. But the nice thing about them was the allen in the middle, it made tighting them a little easier.
