Finished installing my full bassani system today. WOW !!!! the fit of it is great. Thanks everybody for the tips on the installation and for the recomendation glad i did it now. Brian

At idle it sounds about the same but, when you rev the engine it is louder then before, but not as loud as I expected. The truck is in storage for the winter so I'm not able to drive it for another couple months.
Let me know your opinion after you get your installed. Brian

Brian, Mike here. Finally finished the full Bassani system today. The sound is extremly quiet at idle, but when you punch it, the truck sounds like it totally changes attitude
and really wants to scream. I love it, it is worth it!

Thanks for the update. Did you feel any power increase?

 

How does the Bassani mufflers sound compared to a Flowmaster 2-chamber? Cant make up my mind. Do you have to get the mufflers with the full bassani kit, could I substite flowmasters? That was my plan, or are bassani mufflers better?

 

You Guys are going to make me dig deep into my Empty Pockets for this exhaust system. Can`t wait to hear it.....

Have never used Flowmasters, however I know what they sound like and personally like the sound of the Bassani better, thats why I went
that route. The whole truck just seems to react better and is just begging to be driven hard.

A buddy of mine has full Bassani on his red 95 L. There is not much difference at low RPM, but it sounds great when he lays into it. Another guy I know just put full Bassani on his red 99. I haven't heard it yet but am eager to.

From what I know, (very little) I would shell out the extra $ for Bassani...it's really worth it.
