Post Wyldman you make me sick

JUST KIDDING I'm happy for you! But you could have waited a couple of weeks. LOL I go to the track (River city Raceway) last night for the first in my L. I run 13.559 @ 101.48, 13.446 @ 101.66,(best) 13.480 @ 101.28, and 13.593 @ 100.622. Best 60' time 2.0142. This was with 35 psi in the tires my old OEM air filter in the bed and a half a tank of fuel in the tank. I am going to post my time slips next week from my office. I get home all proud of my self and my L, get ready to tell you all about it when I read that you just broke into the 12's. Sure makes my times look weak. Well I guess I should have gone to the track last week! By the way, did you ever have any trouble with your PSP chip making your truck hit a flat spot at around 100 mph? Mine is bad, and Caka said on another thread that he is having the same problem. Again GOOD JOB on the new record time!

FYI, I have a Superchip and they said that this has never happend before. Out of 400 or so lightnings that are running superchips, mine is the first with this problem,I was told. Just thought I would mention that. If anyone has any clues to what might be wrong with mine, or if there is something I should try, please post it. Because I gotta ship it back Monday. Thanks!

Caka, mine doesn't miss it just feels like you put on the e-brake just a little. Is this what yours is doing? It feels like when you have a part dirty fuel filter.

Thats exactly what mine feels like. Almost like its running at about 75% power after 100 or 105mph. Have you tried to run yours in stock mode to see if it still does it, mine doesn't.

Jerry,

Thanks. Your times are very good for just a couple of bolt ons, better than Beastie could do under the same circumstances.

I don't have a flat spot or any weakness until I hit 135, then it seems to need to wind up a bit to go faster. Sal's new chip code is great, much better shifts and the performance mode is awesome!
