Any Ontario, Canada L Owners??

I was wondering if there were any Ontarian (is that even a word?) owners on this board. I love this site but was looking for a more local site on which I could find info on local shops, meets mabey even a local FS/WTB forum.

So ya, I guess this is a call out to all Ontario L owners, represent!

HI!... Not a LIGHTNING owner but a severely modded "99" F-150 owner here. What part of ONTARIO are you located? I'm in WINDSOR, ONTARIO.

Yes, but I now live in Fort Myers Florida.

I have been on this sight for a couple years. I think you will find a couple brothers from the T.O. area.

Have you checked your local SVT club?

Born Vancouver, raised Windsor 1972 - 1993

Hi Sick,

I'm living in downtown Toronto until my gf finishes school in the spring, unfortunately I left the L at home in Saskatchewan because we'll be moving back out west when she's done anyways. I just couldn't put it through all the salt this province puts out on the roads in the winter time either. As for tuners 'n such, I don't know of any but Sal @ PSP isn't too far away in NY and JDM in NJ... two of the best. All the luck to ya! Oh and Leafs suck btw, HABS RULE hehehe.

We can't change the topic too much, but I am surprised you haven't accepted the truth that the Canucks are the future team of Canada

Look up SVT on the web, you should find something in your area! You will even find the SVT model that you can't find in the U.S. - the contour :o

Work hard, drive harder!

LOL - you will find a number of SVT Contour enthusiasts still doing "close circut" and attending meetings.

I was a Fort Myers SVT officer in 2003 and when I attended the SVT Officer Meetings in Dearborn MI that year I met a number of Contour owners.

I can't recall what years that vehicle was made, though - I think strickly in the 90's.

I like to hear new stuff about SVT that I don't yet know about so thats why I was thinking you're on to something, heh.

It was like the story of the 2002 SVT Cobras they only sold in Australia.

Once I got down to the bottom of that story it turned out to be just a bunch of 2001 leftover Cobras from the US that they send to a local distributor down under and had them converted to right wheel drive... Tickford did the conversions and everyone raved like they were something more than what they really were.

I'm in Toronto (well, Scarborough, really)... I work downtown, in the financial core. You're right - the salt is horrible! My L has been put away for the winter and will only come out a few times over the next few months, to keep moving parts moving.

There are some local tuners, but I've always gone to JLP for my go fast goodies. I've heard some good things about DaSilva, but no first hand knowledge. There is a local SVTOA, but I found it to be quite Mustang focused...

There are a few L's around, and we usually end up meeting at the tracks (Cayuga and St. Thomas), from time-to-time. Always ended up having a fun time
