Dyno from this weekend

I just want to Thanks the whole crew from JDM and DVSVTOA for setting up a dyno day for us. Jim Sr. took his time with each vehicle for some custom tuning. Added about 20 HP and 30 TQ from just adjusting the tunes. He ran 4 pull's on my truck and let it cool down each time. Final numbers are 420 Hp and 535 TQ. Air/Fuel was set to 11.5

I did gain 10 hp by losing the JLP air box and leaving the scoop and tube to the filter. Special thanks to Fast Freddy for setting this up and getting me a video of my pull.

The blue is my hot tune and the red is my cold tune, both on pump gas. Both conservative.

Mods are :
JLP Ram Air w/ box removed, 170 T-stat, JDM Silver Bullet, FTVB(2C), Moroso Trans pan, LFP Heat Exhanger, LFP AuxIdler w/ 2 pullies, LFP 6lb lower, NGK-TR6's, Breather Filter, JDM SCT Excal2 custom tuned

Nice

Nice Numbers!!. Jim does do a great job in explaining everything, even though some times I just shake me head and agree because it's way over my head when he starts breaking down milli seconds and stuff........hehehe.

When he has your truck, it's tunnel vision. Those are some nice numbers. You will loose some dyno hp with the JLP box, Jim showed us that one time, but I think when the truck is moving and sucks air, that proves what the purpose of that setup is.

Congrats on your Mid 12 Second truck!!!!

Josh removed the air box and picked up a full A/F number!

So how do you tune for movement?
Set the A/F at 10.5 and guess that it goes up 11.5?
OR
Set the A/F at 11.5 and hope it doesn't go over 12.5?

I don't know...

FF
