Cool Good Kill

Took the computer out of the L to reclean the contacts for the chip (was not getting any response from it). Got it all cleaned and put back in the truck. Decided to go out on Westhiemer (street in Houston) and look for trouble. Cruised about 5 miles down without any hits, so turned around to go back. Almost home when an Acura NSX pulled up next to me. We were both just sitting there, but when the light turned green, we both reacted. I got the jump with a little wheel spin, he was about a mid-truck. He started inching up on me (thought the L would never shift into second). We ran for about a 1/4 mile before we ran into the next stop light. He pulled into the turn lane and took the next left.
If it would have been open road, he would have took me, but not in the 1/4.
By the way, the chip still does not give me any reaction. Might be more hp, but the shifting has not changed. What kind of responses did ya'll get right after installation?
Sorry so long, just wanted to share my kill.

Nice kill! I'm glad someone got an NSX today. I found a beautful black one on the way to work, but I could not goad him into playing. At least an NSX went down to an L somewhere today. My Superchip sure in the hell makes a major difference in shifting. It takes the beauty mid red line, and makes as brisk a shift as I used to make with my 6 speed LT1 Pontiac. The only difference is I never miss a shift with the L like I used to do with the Pontiac.

99,

If your chip is working, you'll know, period!

If you're tires aren't barking when you hit second, and wanting to spin you around in the middle of the street, you might want to see if your still running the chip in the stock position.

Cool

If it's a Superchip then flip the switch! If it's not then get one or a PSP chip. Seat of the pants meter will notice a difference if it's functioning, truck usually doesn't start if it's not.
