Updated Nitrous Plate from Racetested

There has been a lot of talk about the length of the racetested nozzle. It is prime suspect #1 on why I didn't see the power expected. Denny's first run of plates had a problem because his CNC guy didn't follow specs. Sal modified his plate to give me a bit more clearance and here is what it looked like:

Here is Denny's new plate:

I'm not really sure when I'll have a chance to test this out on the dyno, but we are on the right track.

HI!... I did the same kinda thing on a old POWERAID spacer. I had the Helix machined out to match my BBK 75MM TB and then drilled and tapped from my NX nitrous nozzle.

Here is a side by side on the two plates I have from Denny. The polished one is the new style. Notice is is a little thicker and the orientation of the hole has changed a bit.

Very good Mark

Nice to see the Plate back on target
Your new plate is how Sal and I mocked up the Proto Type, as said it was in the final stages that apparantly the problems occured

The Plate actually started out Straight

That wasnt going to work

This is what Sal and I came up with

The final design of the Proto Type

What happen between that and the production mod is unfortunately in the hands of the CNC guy

Glad to see it back on target

Mine dyno'd at 550/655 with a 100 shot using the plate

The only camparison I can provide is 501/615 screwed in the upper using a 75 shot

But the 550/655 was with 4lbs more boost so sorry not to helpful.....
