Post Jack Stands

Any tips on where to place 2 jackstands in the front for storage, I know where to lift the truck but should I place the stands on each side of the bar that runs across the front or is that a bad thing? or ok

thx in advance

Keith,
I'm sure you couldn't go wrong by placing the stands under the frame, it will take the weight off the tires and bearings, and keep the springs from constantly being compressed. If you are gonna keep it in storage a long time-more than one season, you gotta do a lot of other stuff like drain the gas, change oil, and water, bla bla bla. There was a good tech video on my classic car not too long ago, try their web site. I think its www.myclassiccar.com -- or a variation.
