Everyone probably has an opinion on this crappy situation; but, nobody knows exactly what went on here but Sal and Rob. All the speculation and commentation is getting old quick. It's sad that the same people always seem to rise to the occasion when there's some mud to be slung around.
Apologies have been made and the issue should be dropped. The only thing that has been accomplished here is that there are now some hard feelings between friends and neighbors; and, some pr!cks got a little play time. Rob, if you're reading this, I regret commenting on the situation. I trust Sal implicitly with my truck; but, I can see myself being frustrated in your place. How you got there is between you and Sal. I wish it could have stayed that way.

Never once in all the posts from either Rob or Sal did I ever read anything to the effect that they were going to lower the boost and see how the plugs took it and then move on from there.
Maybe you guys were all caught up in dyno numbers?
Sometimes you need to take one step back to take two steps forward.
Shoulda coulda woulda, but in the end Rob will still have his truck, but not his money. If ya did it at cost Sal, I could understand,but you made something on the deal didnt ya?

I decided to reply to this and atleast off how I feel because i have been on both ends of a deal it this.On one hand you have a customer how want to try this and you don't have a clue as to how well it will workbut in theory IT SHOULD.And I have been on the end of basicly saying I can do this much lets see if we can get this out of it!and again sometimes it works and some times it does not.BUT if it does look at the amount of potential customers that you could gain from this!I have seen posts saying you only need these few items to get into the low 12 or high 11's.and no one can say that if all they needed to install was a fe bolt ons to get into the 11's that they would not do just that amount.
What I am trying to say [and feel] is it was a 'if this works we will be helping the ENTIRE lightning comunity out showing that all you need is to do this'So in ways they both were trying to help everyone out not just them selves and yes Sal would of benefited the most but rov would get the credit for having the gut to try it and make it work first!Stan
