Thumbs down Did Something Stupid Last Night

Came home last night after working my normal 8 hours at the day job and 4 more installing some computer stuff for a friend.. pulled the L into the garage, not noticing that I had turned my lights on manually. I normally let the L turn the lights on and off... but anyways I didn't turn my lights off.. came out this morning to a very dead L..

Didn't I see something somewhere about power being disconnected if left on for more than 30 minutes??? Anyone..

Oh.. ya.. I checked to make sure.. the battery was at 1.8 volts... had to get a jump...

* 8" Bazooka Tubs
* Kenwood 80 watt *2 amp
* 50% Window Tint
* Viper 550 Alarm w/ remort start
* 98 Yamaha Banshee w/ Toomey T5 Chrome pipes often found in the bed..

Injection is nice, but I'd rather be blown. 99 Lightning, the best of both worlds!

Hey SVT2GO, Sal here. The only thing that will be shut off is the interior lights and some acessories. The GEM module ties into the interior lamp relay and a few things like the radio and such, and will turn them off automatically after about 30 minutes (not 100% sure of the time). None of the exterior lights or any other power acessories will be shut off. Hope this helps!!

Duh I turn my lights on and off as a force of habit. But now that I have given you a hard time I'm sure it won't be long before I am posting about a big dead battery hehe

Christy Ann Sweetie.... stop teasing all the truckers in your little white light... and start looking for the cops sitting in the center of the highway.. does wonders for your driving record )

Well, if it isn't my fish in shining blue armor. Brad is a goober, and he forgot to shut off his lights. No harm no foul. hehe I laugh now, but I'll be the first one to post the *Locked the spare in the truck while it was running* topic.

Angry

Lets not talk about locking the keys in the car... true story..

I had just gotten out of the hospital for some stomach surgery... and couldn't drive. So mom and dad offered to go get my puppy from the kennel, but they took my new truck (it had less than a 1000 miles on it) but hey, it's my dad, so I trust him.. right? They go get my 2 year old beagle, Oscar the mischievous one, so dad puts him in the truck, with it running, with the spare key in the center console.. and whats he do, the little **** stepped on the lock button. So here is my brand new L, running with both sets of keys in it, and my dog. Well oscar lays down in the passenger seat and decides to take a little nap, the only thing we could hope for is that he'd step on a door unlock or power window roll down. Neither happened. After about 20 mins the cops showed up and shimmed into the door. 2 thoughts here... 1: never ever let dad drive your L, 2: never ever trust a beagle in a car..

Christy Ann.. you can just keep your mouth shut now..
