Wow, That is a little off the hook. I haven't seen any reason for FMC to threaten us or Steve here. Of course when they provide a resource and then they blow a valve because it is utilized that doesn't seem like a good reason either does it?

I just was concerned since I knew there was mention of the VOPC in a couple of threads. I'd hate to see FMC come down (i.e. threaten legal action) on Steve as they did w/ Ford-diesel.com's administrator.

IMO, this is such a cool message board as-is and would hate to think that any corp. would have undue influence on what is or isn't posted here.

Excuse the vent, I don't do it often. Just hate any form of bullying.

Yeppers. Catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.

Does this mean I have to throw away that 60 gallons of vinegar I bought for three bucks at Sam's?

Gotta side with Ford on this one. That number is for dealers and if customers start calling it en masse it shuts down it hurts Ford business by overloading the call center and possibly precluding dealers from getting info they need.

I agree, Nathan, that Ford appears to have a legitimate concern, but do they have to be so damned heavy handed about expressing it. After all, they are not dealing with the enemy but with people who are promoting their products, and cultivating good will seems to be at least as important as incurring a little inconvenience. I would think they could just say "pretty please" first before they sic the attack dog lawyers on them.
