A/F Question?

Got a bad batch of gas and my a/f shot up. After a couple of tanks of hopefully high test fuel its back to normal for normal idle and driving. But now when i dip into the throttle a little getting into boost a little the a/f shoot up to about 20% a/f give or take. Motor spudders alittle and i think its detonating.
When i go back to normal throttle and idle it goes back to normal a/f 14.7%. Put a scanner on to read any codes..... nothing? Anyone know what could be causing this? I was thinking maybe there still some bad fuel in the system,or the injectors and fuel filter may be clogged. Bad batch of gas from the long lines after Hurricane WILMA. Ive heard a lot of drivers are experiencing the same situation. But my truck is running pretty much normal where as others claim to run very poor. Thanks for any info. Tony Mac

Is it a wideband 02? If so, can you recalibrate it?

First thing I'd do is unplug the battery and turn headlights on. Turn off and re-connect the battery.

That should reset the computer from what it's learned.

At least it's a free way to get a reality check as to if it's something in the tune.

Yeah i reseted the battery and it still does it. I believe its my injectors not my tune. Just have to do the process of elimination. Might take awhile but atleast i know not to go WOT or anything close till i fix the problem.

I'd start with all the basics. Fuel filter, all new gas, fuel pressure test.

Happened to me before on my SVTF, the bad fuel gummed it up, run some good fuel cleaner through it, everything was just fine wfter that.
