If a spark plug comes lose, when can you here it tick? Idle? Crusing? WOT? I am about to make a 4k mile round trip over the next 30 days, would like to know just in case. THier is alot of engine noise, and my exhaust is loud, I want to be sure that if a plug starts coming out, I'll know what and when to listen for it.

 

You can usually hear a faint puffing at idle that gets faster as you increase RPM. Sounds like an exhaust leak tick sometimes.
