Sir Michaels used to provide these, but something happened to the original mold...?
I've been working with a local body shop that had the molds redone. Bought a pair of the steps today. They're nice. Ready to be painted red and installed. Going to look tons better than the black plastic we have now.
Will post pics. when done, unless anyone wants to see them pre-paint.

I would like to see them pre-paint!

Steps would be cool! I get tired of seeing people struggle to get in.... yes i know the L is not that big, but I do notice passengers struggling... The seat is a little higher than their car I guess.

Well I'm headed home... Can't wait to drive!

 

Not the same steps, Dammitt(hey, he picked the name).

I'm talking about the molded steps to climb into the bed.

These are solid and smooth. Would look great with a molded billet piece on top or an SVT inlay. I really like the inlay idea.

Expect to pay around $150.00. If a few more people are interested, he'll probably discount. Since we only have 3 paint codes, he'll prep, paint and ship them finished. This guy does superior work. Sir Michaels is the one that hooked me up with him.

I spoke with Sir Michaels this afternoon. The rollpan and smooth corners are available to complete the smooth look. The cost is $269.00 for the kit. They come ready to paint. The corners are fiberglass and the rollpan is steel (bolt on type) with the license plate spot. In case anyone is interested.
