White Beast,

Yes, I thought about stripes and just didn't like the idea. I think the monochromatic black looks great and don't really want to change it. All the mods that are on it currently are almost too much as it is.

I am not saying that it looks bad, to the contrary, I think it looks pretty good, on someone else's truck. The Black Beast is a night rider and the black is perfect urban camo (you know how us Texans are...).

Just my opinion......

That looks exactly like my Snuglid, by Snugtop. Oh BTW, be sure to order it w/o the rubber edges; ask for finished edges. Looks terrific, lots of compliments!

Hey guy's,
I agree, the hood is a keeper as well as the tonneau, but the stripes gotta' go.I'm w/ Wyldman man on keeping the blackout,I too own the "fastest" color(no offense)and I have already gone about blacking it further by getting the grill painted to match(why it came w/ gray I'll never know).
For all of you who have changed hoods and tonneau's could you list so ball park figures for me on both.I'll be upgrading come spring, but I'd like to get a head start on saving up.Thanks,
Brett

Yours came witha grey grill?? thats funny , 1 of the ones at portsmouth ford came with grey grill too. i wonder if svt ran out of black or they both got hit or maybee its a "special edition" truck its possible .sometimes factories will do strange things. what number was it? portsmouth's was a later # it was the last one to hit the dealership. the one i saw also had buff marks on the bumper(front)too. thats why i thought it might of got hit.

The hot dog truck belongs to tgolden382@aol.com He's emailed me a few times, and seems to be a real good guy. I have told him about this board, but he still has not written, may be just lurking.

Those yellow stripes are outlined in silver to help with the transition between the red and yellow--this doesn't show up online. These stripes are painted on (not stickers). He did this without knowing for sure what the outcome would be. (man he's got big one's to do something as permanent as painted one's)

The lid is a snuglid. He also has a hypertech chip. I'm not sure which after market air filter kit he went with, but he has one. Also, full Bassani kit. He also had on order for over 3 weeks the Sean Hyland blower pulley (I guess they are still working on building one).

He told me he is going to be doing a before and after dyno test to see what kind of power the pulley gives.
