I was wondering which headers to get for my money's worth. I am debating between Borla or Bassani. Thanks!

i don't believe borla makes headers for the
lightning or any ford truck. couple weeks
ago i spoke directly with borla and was
told the 97 and up leave very little room
for header installation. bassani header
install requires loosening the driver side
motor mount and lifting the engine 3 inches.
of course their are several members to this
sight who have done the install themsevles,
so i'm sure you'll be hearing from them.

 

If ya can just hold on ta ya drawers for a lil while HOOKER will have a port mached set soon a nuf. My monies worth.

I have the Bassani's HPC coated and they are worth the money. As I have said many times before, Bassani's have 1 5/8 equal length primary tubes. JBA's have 1 1/2 inch unequal primary tubes. In supercharged aplications, it usually does not mater if they are equal length or not, but size DOES. I liked JBA's because they were stainless, but I did not like the fact that they were only 1 1/2 inch. Bassani still puts a lifetime warrantee on their steel HPC coated. As far as Hookers go, I've had many a pair, and never has one fit without notching the frame, bending a tube, etc..... Hooker has gone hecko in Mexico. Enough said about my thoughts on Hooker.
