This is going to be a good winter for modding!

WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Built engine? Monster Box (I don't want to hear about your problems), Whipple? KB? Turbo? Roll bar? Cage? 4-Link?

JLP has a great price on engines, VT engines is in my backyard, literally. PSP has been phenomenal to me with parts, service and tuning.

I'm thinking a VT engine, monster box, cage, with a S/C and nitrous and PSP tuning

Turbo's would be real nice, but I can't justify spending that amount of money over a KB or whipple.

Do you own a house?

squirel up your savings then start saving for the mods.

Im all for having a built truck, trust me... I wish i still had mine, but you should invest in a house, have the tax benefits at the end of the year and then take the money you get back and slowly build your beast. Better to have equity now, then later..

Great news my friend!
I know you have worked hard and sacrificed much!

Hey let me know if you need my services installing those mods.

God Bless,

get yourself a small credit card, use it for stuff like gas. pay it off. i never use a credit card unless i have the cash in the bank to pay the bill in full. it is just used for convenience. once u use them to buy things you can not afford right now, that is when people get screwed up. Just make sure you keep the balances under 50% of the credit limit.
Do not go crazy with the credit cards, only get 2, maybe 3 with small credit limits (maybe 500 or 1000 max). it is real tempting when you are young to go nutz, but it sucks to be still paying for your college credit card debt when you are 40 years old.

BTW MENACE CONGRATS BRO!!!!!!
see you at the bail bonds man's office!

Thanks everyone.

The next year is going to be an expensive year regardless. I have to buy an engagement ring, get married and get a house.
Luckily my Girlfriend (who I met at school) has been an attorney with the IRS since may '05 and okay'd spending money on the truck, since she's going to be buying some of the mods. Lucky me!
