Smile Bassani Cat Pipe installed.

I just gotdon installing my cat pipe. It took about 2 1/2-3 hrs to do. I used jackstands and the install was straight foward.

I do however cut my nuckles. Well of coarse it had to start snowing in the middle of the install. So I have not driven it yet. BUT the sound of it idle is sure nice.

I reved the engine a couple of times and I am once again impressed. If the weather gets better I will keep you posted.
As soon as I get it out of the garage.

Gotta go off to install the superchip.

pipes do you intend to install the whole
system. if all goes as planned i'm ordering

I the stock manifolds for now. I ordered the JBA headers with that they are a little easier to install and cost was also lower. I also have the borla cat-back. I did things all backwards.

I started with the borla and it sounded great. So then I went with the cat-pipe I was looking for performance now and I had to take the borla off to install the cat-pipe. And when I do the headers I will have to take it all off again. I should have done all at the same time.

I did just get back from a test drive. The roads are dry for a little while. I am really impressed with the sound generated now.

The cat-pipe give the louder tone and it sounds great.

I curious what the stock exhaust with the bassani cat-pipe would sounded like.

I read somewhere that the guy from bassani said the most power was generated through the exhaust system. I believe it has to be the cat pipes because there is a small cat on the 90's in the stock system or the headers that is another weekend.

Enough from me for now.
