dont you know who we are talkin about? its Big Nitrous Rob, he has to make his big pass ***** out the first run so he can hurry up home and post to the world what he did... A very close friend of Robs told him that day (JDM Day) to not say anything to anyone about what was happening to him, especially on the forums.. did we all think Rob could do that? No! it was only a matter of time before he announced to the world, "TEAM JDM BABY!!!"... As Sal has posted in another thread, Rob is loyal to none.. and when Rob said that he is and always will be, well, we all know the truth to that just by reading Robs posts in the past recent months..

your guys are so funny. He really used Sal up huh? Sal agreed to build something the way Rob wanted, even though he knew it wasn't right. So when problems arose, Rob had to spend, and spend. Yeah, Sal threw in time he never will recoupe, but he's not the one having to do it all over again.

Rob....don't lose sleep over it bro! Don't worry about what people say. You tried something, it didn't work quite as well as expected, you learned, and now your picking yourself back up. Time will heal wounds with Sal or Charles, and soon you will be enjoying your truck again. I for one am thankful for you sharing your experiance, you taught as all a lesson (even if it was at your hard expense!) And you are a beloved part of our community! Happy Thanksgiving brotha!!!!!

Mop your right my thick skull would not except you and everyones constant reminder of the springs being the problem after the build, BECAUSE SAL KEPT TELLING ME EVERYONE IS WRONG AND IT'S NOT THE SPRINGS. If you think in your wildest dreams I wasn't willing to pay for the few hours labor it takes to do it, your all frigging crazy. And yes I did post the results that night of the Dyno's, THATS ALL I DID, but no one wants to believe who's decision it was to do that (swap SC) so I aint even going there again.....

ROB Happy Thanksgiving I for one am verry glad you made your posts,I have made the decision to just port my blower (steig) gear (410) and full exhaust.mostly because of the BS you had to put up with. and what ever it runs it runs.The big reason is I dont like any thing new on the market so im looking for a good 5.0 to play with THANX ROB

So here goes
I talk to Rob, 3 or 4 times a week on the phone.
I told Rob many times it was, just plain dumb, to install the very used stock springs and valves back into his motor. But his motor builder kept implying that the springs where up to "spec". Stock spec in a motor that wasn't going to be stock, doesn't make to much sense. Atleast to me.
But I was accused by somebody of making "digs" at somebody's company, for making those statments because I didn't know what I was was talking about. I just decided at the time not to revel just how much I really did, in fact, know about the situation.........
But after 13 sets of plugs breaking apart, it was only a matter of time, before a stock valve was damaged. Iam sure a stainless valve could be damaged, but it would take more abuse. I can't help believe Rob's motor would still be alive today if the heads had been more than stock "spec"
Now the issue of damaging 13 sets of plugs is a different story, huh?

One thing Rob and myself have in common is this. Neither him or myself is an engine builder or tuner, we paid somebody to do it for us. When it was completed, we paid the bill and enjoyed the fruits. Well atleast one of us did

I know it's easy for me to say (Iam not the one footing the bill) but its time to let it go and move on. I think you showed the patience of a saint, but its time to move on. I've got 76,000 miles on my truck and after I blew that plug and had to have it fixed I know I was gunshy to even run WOT but the guys who did it here in Phoenix did a real good job with it (even though it took about 3 weeks) and I've just kind of been happy motorin on down the road with it. All the tuners and shops do their best I believe and Sal is a good guy, just part of the game though huh? Gotta pay to play. Just so happens you had one of the fastest toys, maybe some guys are just jealous.

He was running high 11's on F1's at Stanton last year.
IMO and from what I've read on here for tthe past few years:
Less boost and more nitrous will get you a better time at the track than more boost and more nitrous.
