BASVT, i dont know you personally, but would you please quit using the guilt trip on us. We all respected you and trusted you, yet you seem to be the "only" one sticking up for his/her beliefs. I too will stick up for myself when the time comes, no matter the consequenses. This will be my last post on this, but i would like to continue communication with you BASVT, you have a great personality, especially when it doesn't clash with steve. just e-mail me so i can keep in touch with you. but behave from now on if you do look around.

You see....he called me "simple minded"?...yet he is agreeing with what I said on another post....strange but true. Again...Ray...if you realized I was joking before about the way I said you and LoCox are the same person, you would understand. You didn't see the smiley faces there? Perhaps you didn't and took it the wrong way. The same thing happened when you posted a few things. People took it the wrong way. Taste of your own medicine, maybe. Either way, it's too bad that this had to turn out this way but I gather from the posts that most are fed up. No one is kissing Steve's butt here, but you have to take into appreciation that it IS someone's sight and we are GUESTS here. At times, some folks tend to forget this. Would you honestly like someone doing the same to you? I sure as hell wouldn't tolerate it. However, hopefully this issue is over with now.

Locox, I'm not trying to start anything with you but I just had to get a point across: I was just wondering...what are you trying to achieve with your post? It seemed like it was dying down already and off you go ranting at everyone. Please, think before you post. (That applies to me too). The way I see it, no one was sent an engraved invitation to be here. All of you are here because you want to be here. You subscribed yourself into the list. If (any of) you don't like what's going on, or feel that you do not like the people, or feel that the rules aren't for you, you can just as easily unsubscribe yourself. It's quite simple really.

The bottom line is, there are rules here. If you want to make up your own rules, start your own BB. Instead of complaining that your behaviour is not tolerated here, look for a BB that does. There are a lot out there.

Oh, and if anyone feels I should delete this post, say so and I will.

Locox: I basically had no problems with BADASS. I understand why he got upset when he did, there was a small amount of truth in what he said about the insurance incident. But one of them apologized and moved on, the other went a little spaz. BADASS seems to have a bit of a persecution complex, recognize it because I've been there. The worst part was the way he lashed out at HIS friends and host, totally uncalled for. He makes a watered down apology to the host and then goes on to basically justify his actions that he apologized for. Not very genuine. He doesn't have to like Steve, but he is here as a guest and needs to act accordingly. No one has asked him to kiss anybodys a$$, yet he has told people to kiss his. I am saddened by his departure as I would be by any of this colorful bunch that are in an odd sort of way a ragtag family. I did not desert him, he chose to alienate himself. Of the 6 or 8 message boards I frequent this board is by far the most professional and civilized. You can't fault people for working to keep it that way.

My 2 cents is not worth much, but being in military and have served 26 years, all I have to say is people must take responsibility for individual actions. We make choices in our lives and with those choices comes responsibility. If you break the rules suck it up, take the punishment, continue on and don't make the same mistake twice. Least of all do not try to drag others down because you do not want to face the music. Seems as though this has at times became a blame game. We know the rules and Steve enforces them. If we don't like the rules of this board we have the freedom to go else where.

Sorry folks, but that is my 2 cents and will probably cause me to be to called anything but nice. Now I will be called the balck sheep for my old way of thinking.
