New member writing in for the first time. Have been reading this post for the last couple of months, in fact since just before placing my order. Apparently, Ford Leasing will not lease lightnings to leasing companies, in Canada anyway. Lease all of my vehicles from a local GM dealer and wanted the Lightning from him if possible.

Anyhow, been waiting forever to get a confirmation of my order. As we all know, if it wasn't secured by now, we'd be pretty much pooched. FINALLY got it!!!

Man, I can't wait. It's been -8 deg. F. up here and the snow is only starting to fly, at least 3 months of winter left and I'm just dying.

Thanks for all the great info. on these trucks. For a closing, I'd just like to say that for those of you who waited for your lightnings last year didn't have it so bad. At the time you didn't realize how impressive these things really were. For those of us waiting for 2000's, and knowing what's coming, it is unbearable.

I know what you mean, i've had my order in since the first of September, and I am friggin' going nuts down here. We just also got dumped with quite a bit of snow, so i'm in no hurry right now....but it's aching...
