Post water wetter

Hey people I just got my redline watter wetter today. Is it compatable with the coolant used in the lightning? Do you put it in the radiator and intercooler, and how much do you put in?

I'm curious too?

Whats the deal with the coolant? Do we replace soon after purchase? Whats the recommened miles & how much do we use when we replace it?

What is the best coolant to use?

Any info is appreciated.

I have used the water wetter in an LT1 engine.

I would add 1-2 bottles depending on the capacity of your cooling system.

As far as coolant goes. I change it every year (in the fall) and use a 70%-30% mixture.

Just use any quality product. The key thing is to flush and change EVERY YEAR!!!!! You will NEVER go wrong with that!

BTW: The more water you add to your mixture the better it can cool your engine, BUT, that comes with a price! More water means MORE CORROSION, freeze point and boil points change, and you have less lubrication to keep your water pump from going bad!

I just put about 3/4 of a bottle in the intercooler and 1 1/4 bottles in the radiator.

Yep, 4 door is right on those amounts. You could also read the directions on the bottle then check you fluid capacities in the SVT supplemental manual and do the math.
