Q for Sal
I am the proud owner of #503, birth 4/17/99. I am also interested in your air filter, however California has the C.A.R.B.(California Air Resources Board) that requires a C.A.R.B number for all after-market products installed on CA vehicles. Any chance you have applied for this? Thanks
I'm not Sal but the air filter is easy to remove if needed. I've been to the dealer a few times now and I switch back to the stock box before I go.

I'm also from CA and was wondering the same thing. I was looking at Sal's web site and I thought I read a disclaimer about products not being for street use.

Not sure about the CARB thing, but as a side note, I get my Bolt serviced at the Lincoln dealer where I also get Pat's Continental serviced.
They think the truck is a hoot, and everytime I get it serviced, about every 60 days, all the techs look it over to see what I have changed/added.
Absolutely no hassle whatsoever about filters/chips and so on.
Of course, I have not had to have any warranty work done, but it saves taking all the stuff off for normal servicing, and they charge the same as the Ford store next door for normal maintenance services.
Just a thought.

Good idea, Bill! Lincoln/Mercury for routine service and Ford dealer for warranty work. Think I'll give it a try.
