The Orlando Sentinel writer who authored the Lightning article (Richard Truett) and I exchanged several e-mails shortly after I picked up my L in July. I told him that he just had to test the new Lightning and even offered him my ride since he was having trouble finding one. He declined my offer because he said he was restricted to test vehicles either direct from a dealer or from the manufactor's press fleet. He later wrote to me and said that the Lightning test was lots of fun and he was very impressed with the truck.
