Question Wax

It's time to wax the Lightning and I wanted to see which brand everyone was using. The best truck on the road deserves the BEST wax!

The answer is Zaino. I've used quite a few other brands, including Meguiars and Mothers, but Zaino gives the most shine with the least effort. It also has good longevity. The only thing that could be at all considered a negative is the drying time for Zaino, which is substantially longer than a normal wax.

GET ZAINO! Note: Zaino will not protect your Lightning from moose scuffs. Sorry for the caps, its just that I want it soooo bad. Can only buy it online though. Maguires did not do a very good job either

You have to use Zaino, probably the best out there.

I cannot dispute the claims for the Zaino wax. The stuff is great!

I use a product called Black Again (available from autotoys.com) that will clean and refresh anything made of rubber, vinyl, or plastic.

This stuff is UV activated and will take dull grey plastics that used to be black and make 'em "Black Again". It's also great for getting wax off of textured plastics.

I cleaned the vinyl top on the Challenger and its look brand new again. I have used this product on at least 6 of my cars and it has always done a great job for me.

Go the Zaino Route. If you have questions go here and read your heart away. These guys at LS1's Detail & Showcar section are pretty good.

Sal Zaino posts here and helps on a daily basis.
