new Grand Am SC/T
Don't remember which mag it was (it was late night at the grocery store) but the cover was red, and I saw an article on a new Pontiac Grand Am SC/T (Eaton supercharged). It looked pretty sweet for a sedan, and base price (and vehicle tested) only 20k!
I think the quarter mile times were in the mid to high 14s, I'm sure with a little work it could hit low 14s to high 13s.
They are thinking of putting the GTO name on it but some wonder if its deserving. Don't know much about muscle car history but that sounds pretty extreme for a sedan. I think it'd be an awesome daily driver, my V6 mustang was almost 20k. What y'all think?

Brimstone,
A GTO moniker on a V-6 fwd Pontiac Grand Am would be a disgrace to the original Pontiac GTO muscles cars. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear........
Legitimate Pontiac GTOs were 389 and 400 cu. in V-8s and a tri-power was a mid 13 second car right out of the factory. They will never duplicate them again for many reasons.
