Cool

MRBBQMAN,

That's a real beauty.

As for the clash of opinion at the LS1 site: Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but it is how we express one that defines us as "grown up." I am very glad to be a member of a message board full of grown-ups with cool opinions and a heck of a lot of great information.

There are several people over on LS1.com that have seen my tailgate pull away from them - Tim Creswell, Steve Coffee, Gordon Sevine, Tim Herrington... I work with Geoff and Angie Skinner on some of my truck stuff too. I feel lucky to call these people friend, but man are there some real DA's over there too.

I guess you find them in ANY crowd, eh?
Later!

I will be honest most on LS1.com trash mustangs too! Watch for BAD95Z28 he likes to think he is the fastest thing on the road and will flame you regardless what you say! I think the funny part is more than half the people on that site are full of ****! I hear this one all the time "Raced a moddified mustang in my stock LS1 and at the top of 2nd gear I had 10 car lenghts on him" Then you look at their track times and some are slower than mine in my STOCK GT!

Thats a nice truck. Wish Ford offered a Reg Cab, short bed Superduty. I would grab one with the V10 if I could.

Thanks for the pix, MRBBQ! You have one awesome stable of vehicles. I don't think anybody (even the LS1 crew) could not like the Dodge. Which one of the 4 is fastest/slowest in the 1/4 and/or 0-60?

The Valk looks great. Got to ride one of those one of these days. You and sixpipes have a right to be proud of those bikes.

Took a ride on a Boss Hog (bike w/Chevy V8) the other day. Fun and great sound. And, of course, a real attention getter. Pricy, however. They also make a trike with '57 Chevy tail fins and trunk. Pretty cool.

Mike, quickest to 60 would be valk/ram/L/gs
1/4 = ram/valk/L/gs,
that boss hoss dwarfs my valk, website says one (1)? forward gear, and top speed "unknown", wow

Wink

Hate to say but I had to put my two cents in on LS1.com. I am 40 and get tired of them talking about all the old men that wont race. Wonder where they are at there is 4 lightning here in goldsboro, nc and i know two for sure that love to have fun so if those LS1 crowd is looking some fun telling them to come on down to nc there is some old men here that like to have fun and 3 drag tracks within 30 min of the house.

MRBBQ,

You're right, it's Boss Hoss not Boss Hog like I mentioned. Guess my Harley preferences were showing through.

The huge tank on the Hoss is really the only styling thing that I don't like on those bikes. That small block V8 looks just too awesome for words. And you're also correct about the 1-speed tranny; it's an automatic that you have to reach down low to shift, "suicide" style. (Their custom trikes also have a reverse gear.) Top speed is "unkown" because so far no one has been brave enough to top out the bike (300 hp on the one I rode) with its less than perfect high speed handling and aerodynamics.
