You know kinda like that guy at the office who gets the last dougnut? (Not into coffee yet) Still curious as to what my # is. I'll call SVT tommorrow, again.

Hey Guys about the stock boost gauge, i did the re-callibration ting that was posted not to long ago and now I get 10 Lbs but befor i was getting like 8. You might want to try. I have heard these trucks are built by teams and not production line meaning there are differant tolorances if true (i.e. boost gauges) just my two cents

Freeing up the incoming air ahead of the SC by using a filter and intake kit will increase the boost. To use the analogy that Vortec used, try sucking air through a bar straw, then try sucking air through the left over cardboard tube from TP. Even though the source of the suction (Your lungs) is working at the same level, there is a lot more airflow with the larger tube. Same thing with the Eaton and the intake kits.

As for there being some overlapping of effects between the pulley and the intake kit, resulting in no more boost gain, I would seriously doubt it. Put the intake kit on, if you gain 2 psi. more, that means the blower is producing 10 psi at ~11,000 rpms. If you then install the pulley and increase the rpms of the SC, there is going to be an increase in the amount of boost.

I also don't think the exhaust will have an effect on the boost that you are seeing. In turbo applications it does, because the exhaust is what spins the turbo, but with superchargers, it's all created by motor rpms.
