is the Downs pulley a smaller blower pulley, or a larger crank pulley?

The Downs pulley is a larger crank pulley and the ASP pulley is a smaller pulley on the blower snout. The Downs sounds like the easy way to go and you should see less belt slippage. I am sure someone will be combining both and the results should be very interesting, there is a limit to which this supercharger can be pushed and also the added heat that will be tolerated. Lets wait and see. Hey! We just might get a bang out of the results.

Wink

you say "at the tree" what i do to get the best time is barely stage so all the extra time through staging is helping the time ,some tiimes as much as 2 tenths.
As far as bang for the buck , i bet with the two pullies you will get the biggest bang for your buck you will ever see.just becareful, you are gonna need more buck to fix the BANG!!!!!!LOL

If anyone gets either of the pulleys, I'd love to know the diameter of the stock versus the diameter of the aftermarket. I want to change my blower ration for 2.1 to 2.3 or so... was wondering how much of a change these pulleys made...

Injection is nice, but I'd rather be blown. 99 Lightning, the best of both worlds!

Hey Guys and Gals (Since I read Maxxim),

The # to Downs Ford is (800)378-3673 and the part # is DFM9603L. The guy Spiro and I deal with is Joe Amato. The filter is $129 w/o Lightning Club Discount.

The NLOC discount is 10%.

What I also did was take the emblem off the stock airbox that says 5.4 S/C and glued it on the pipe of the new air intake. The emblem is very thin aluminum and can be bent to fit right around the pipe.

It dresses it up and still adds the SVT logo and the S/C logo.

Good Luck!!

Spiro I'll be traveling again in a couple of weeks so I'll see you soon. Happy New Year!!

Scott,
Glad to see you ordered one. You will see a big difference. Happy New Year!!!
