Just got done doing some things to the interior and wanted to see what everyone thinks. Sorry for the color of the pic, everything matches perfectly. Can you spot everything thats done to it?

looks great!
the overhead pod, the rearview, and the drivers sun visor, BTW, what is that thing for on the sunvisor?

how much did you pay for the rearview mirror and where did you get it, I have one in the vette and I like it and want to put one in the truck.

did you move the controls from the dash to the overhead? also what are the two rocker switches control?

The mirror is a Gentex and I got it off ebay for like $35. The thing in the visor is the homelink module. Basically a garage door opener like most expy and navigators have. I just bought a pair of grey sun visors for a Nissan Pathfinder with homelink, the module is the same on all of the vehicles. Has a power and ground and wire which you can tap into using the lights in the visor. The console is from a navigator. The controls are currently in the dash still. But once I finish up this they will be moved up top for sure.

Thanks Rob on the interior. Ahh yes, the good ol pink house. My wife, me, and my roommates rent then place and have no desire to paint the house. My wife and I are moving out the end of this month so no big deal. From what the neighbors say the man before us was color blind. Started painting the house what he thought was burgundy, and after being told it was pink continued to paint as he did not care. Oh well, it's kinda grew on ne. Lol jk...

Nothin like a 200gig computer in a car.... MP3's, DVD's, GPS Navigation, GPRS Internet, Reverse Camera....... what else could ya ask for? I've been working on the same project verrryyyy slowwwwlyyy in my free time. Quite simple to do, if you take your time and have patience. I also got an overhead console from an Expy. I'm also doing the Expy center console mod, where I will mold a DVD tray into the storage tray of the Expy console, and i'm going to place the computer inside the Expy console. Your work looks great! We may be working some bugs out together.... Do you plan on painting it black like the stock surround? I haven't decided if im going to texture it black like the stock surround, or paint it to match my truck like I did on my 02 L. Take it easy.

I've actually been thinking about the overhead console mod for a while. I'd like to move my A/C controls overhead to free up the space in the dash for some gauges - were you able to make the overhead A/C controls functional? If so, how? Thanks.

I know that its very possible, as I know of some people who have done it. I believe it involves not only extending the harness, but also extending some vaccuum lines. I'm going to do it this weekend most likely, so I will let you know.

I have the A/C controls in my Navigator over-head console. I moved the ones from the dash to the top because the Navigator ones are different. To move the controls up there all you have to do is extend some wires, and about 6-8 vaccume lines. Some trimming of the stock A/C controls will be needed and you will need to fab up a bracket. I also molded in the temp sensor and compas from the stock overhead. I will try and post up some pictures if you would like.

My stock display is in the navigator. I made it so that the two buttons on the navigator console push the stock button. So I still have the compass and temp in there, push eitheir button and it changes just like stock Looks just like oem. My plan is to move the controls up there once I get my LCD dash done. Fun stuff I tell ya.

Nice work guys. Looks amazing. I'm starting to get into the whole in-dash screen thing now and i'll start my own project soon enough. Keep up the informative posts!
