Alignment

Hi, all. A few months ago I nearly totalled the truck and had a certain body shop repair my L. They did an outstanding job which involved fixing things that were damaged before the accident. When it came time to align the truck I informed the Manager that I had some caster/camber bolts (the ones from Ford) that could possbily allign the truck properly. The manager later informed me that he had his front end guy allign the truck as much as possible, but the parts I had wouldnt work and I needed an aftermarket set. My current set up (please don't ask ) is a ground force kit with one removed leaf and each front coil with the top section cut out. Given the set up rides like crap, I do plan on something different. I just need to get my camber back in because I just got new wheels and tires and don't want to where em' out like the last 22 inch pirellis I had. Is it possible they didn't want to fool with the caster/camber bolt install or do I really need to get different parts other than the ones from Ford?

I installed a belltech kit in my supercrew and baught their camb kit and installed it with the lowering kit. I then took the truck to a very well known body shop who do great alignments and he was able to align the truck perfictly. Two years no pull no tire wear. I can't believe that ther could be any diferance in the camb kits exept price.

There does appear to be differences in the camber kits. The larger the lobe, the more range of adjustment. Maybe some different bolts with larger-lobed washers will do it.
