Metco upper noise?

I just installed my Metco uppers the other day, but now i have a "creaking" noise over bumps and while turning. I have also heard a clunk once in a while. All the bolts are tight...the only thing I haven't done yet is adjust the preload. Could this be the problem or is there something else that needs to be checked. Any info. would greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have the uppers also. Try adjusting them to one turn just when it starts to preload. Also use synth grease in the bushings. I don't remember if they came already greased.

I have the Metco Uppers - but no noises. I had mine installed 6 months ago and theres nothing loose in them - definitly pre-loaded.

Thanks for the reponses. I'll try to adjust the preload on my uppers tomm. I already greased the w/ synthetic grease. Hopefully, I'll have better luck tomm.
Just how much preload should I go for, or is it base on the vehicle?
