295 or 275 up front? (tires)

Well after finding a staple in my front tire that's leaking, I have to bump my schedule up for ordering new shoes for the L. I now have 3 of 4 tires with screws or nails in them. I swear, you'd think I work at a construction site or something

305 Nitto 555DR's on the rear for sure, but as for the front, should I drop it down to 275, or stick with the stock 295? Stock 03' rims by the way.

Any advantages/disadvangates to going slightly skinnier up front? I'm a straight line guy 100% of the time. No twisties.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks gang!

there doesnt seem to be too much benefit to running a smaller tire other than it may be a tiny bit lighter.

If you are only interested in straight line running you might even go for a narrower tire than the 275.
Less drag and lighter weight.
Just make sure it is rated for the weight of that big ole truck.
Personally I like the stock size for I the great handling they provide.
Best of luck on your pick.
