F-15SVT
Yeap... use to fly the Phantom.. C,D and E. The higher the model number the more was added in the avionics suite thus having more weight and more drag. The C model was the performer and least forgiving. So now I wait for my Y2K lightning to strap in and firewall the throttle to AB. Anticipation is making me grow old :-) You know you are not a spring chicken when the fighter you flew is retired from service and you are still in.

Hey witesvtlite, does Bburago have a web site or where did you order your model from. At least if we have a model to hold, it might slightly reduce our anxiety waiting for the real thing.

PD Lightning,

Go to www.exoticar.com and look for model #B3305, or search "F150 Lightning". They have red or black. I chose red since someone else on another thread (unfortunately, can't remember who, otherwise, I'd give them credit for directing me) mentioned that they had to wait a little longer for the black one. I didn't think I could stand waiting for "another" L longer than I had to. Besides, I'm going to paint it oxford white anyway.

I have been tracking it since it was sent UPS. I should have it in my hands tomorrow.

[The aforementioned credit goes to F150SVT. Thanks, Mike.]

BADASSSVT,

I had to wait for them to get it in stock (we do a lot of tortuous waiting for our Ls, don't we?), but they did and sent mine on the 13th. I opted for UPS Ground since it would take 7-10 business days. Ask for the tracking # so you'll know when it should be at your door.
